David Diehl

Hi there, it’s David. Born 1976, live and work in Zürich, Switzerland.
I am an independent artist. I do what interests me. I like the magic of the trivial, popular culture, high culture, books, vinyl records, typography, mountains, gardens, wild animals, football.
I don't feel bound to any discipline - the project determines the form. So over the last 30 years I have painted, cut, glued, printed and drawn over 2000 pictures - produced videos and recorded music.

Over a longer period of time I’ve done also commissioned work as editorial illustrations, murals, video editings and football icons.
In these times I have worked as an illustrator for Arsenal FC, FC Bayern München, Inter Milan, Olympique de Marseille, FourFourtwo, 11 Freunde, the Bundesliga, LA Galaxy, BSC YB, PUMA, the FIFA Museum, West Bromwich Albion, Nottingham Forest, Musée national du sport, Zwölf Magazine, Tschuttiheftli, Pickles Magazine, WOZ - die Wochenzeitung….. - and many more.
